"National Translational Medical Science and Technology Infrastructure (Shanghai)" is one of the key plans in the field of modern medicine for the 12th Five-Year Plan. It was approved in 2013, construction began in 2016, and trial operation began in 2019. The facility is a large-scale, integrated, systematic research facility designed for the translational study of major diseases such as tumors, metabolic diseases, and cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, as well as the validation of the effectiveness of drugs, reagents, materials, and the translation and application of key common technologies for large-scale high-end medical equipment.
